To whom may concern:
I would like to provide my strong recommendation for Ethan Huang. In March 2010, I took an
Optimization class, an advanced graduate level course, at NYU. At the beginning of the course, I
experienced some difficulty in realizing the concepts of optimization. I decided to employ Ethan
Huang since he was a graduate of Baruch with a degree in Financial Mathmatics. Ethan is a very
accomplished mathematician and very skilled at solving complex problems.
To begin the GMAT study techniques, Ethan organized Math problems in several different categories.
He constantly solved the problems using unique solving techniques. Ethan emphasized “definition”,
rather than “formula” to solve mathematics problems. For the data sufficiency problems, he showed
me a very logical and efficient way to discover the ideas behind the problems.
In conclusion, Ethan is extremely diligent and a highly intelligent person. He constantly showed his
passion and profession during the GMAT tutoring. After his instruction, I got the received the my
highest score thus far, even without full preparation, both in Verbal and Quantitative. I decided to
pursue higher score to facilitate my application to MBA at Columbia University.
Ethan recently moved back to Taiwan. However, this will not stop my tutoring sessions with him as
we will communicate via email since I find his instruction so valuable. Of all the persons I have known
with GMAT knowledge, no one has compared to Ethan with his problem-solving skills, knowledge,
and unique study techniques.
Therefore, I would like to give my highest recommendation for Ethan as a GMAT tutor. He will assist
anyone and improve their GMAT score.
